COLD IS GOLD × STRIDE SOCIAL
OPERATIONAL BRIEF · JULY 2026

A predictable flow
of new brand clients.

This document lays out an operational plan to win new consumer-brand clients for your seeding and TikTok Shop strategies through cold email outreach — reading time ~ 6 minutes.

Read first

What you are about to read is a first take, drafted ahead of our conversation to give you a concrete preview of how we work.

The prospects, signals and projections presented here are working hypotheses — we will refine them together during the engagement.

The aim of this document is to let you picture concretely what a campaign could produce.

01 / YOUR BUSINESS

We understand your DNA.

Stride Social is a UK influencer marketing agency and part of the Stride Group, co-founded by Alex Hendy and Ollie Kitson. It is creator-founded to its core: Alex built an audience of millions before turning that instinct into an agency, and the whole model is built around what actually makes a creator say yes and post with genuine enthusiasm, rather than chase vanity reach. The group also runs Stride Talent, one of the largest creator-management businesses in the UK and US, representing 600 to 700 creators with a team of around 50, alongside a worldwide database of tens of thousands more. For a brand, that means Stride does not rent an audience for a one-off burst: it plugs a product into a living creator community and turns that community into an owned, repeatable channel.

What sets you apart

Stride is creator-founded and performance-led, and that changes how a campaign lands. Rather than paying for reach, Stride runs product seeding: a brand’s product goes out to a few hundred hand-picked creators a month with no rigid brief, and the ones who genuinely love it post organically, because they want to, not because they were told to. That seeds an owned creator community of hundreds to thousands of people the brand can later tap for TikTok Shop affiliates, UGC and launches. As a TikTok Shop partner, Stride can stand a shop up in about a week and run the whole affiliate motion. The belief underneath it all: a hundred genuinely engaged creators will out-perform a million passive impressions.

What we will push on your behalf

Not a description of your services, but the outcome a growing consumer brand actually wants: real creators genuinely using and promoting your product, an owned community you can activate again and again, and TikTok Shop turned into a real sales channel. The pain we open on is one every founder feels — paid influencer activations are expensive and forgotten in a week, agencies over-promise and under-deliver, and most outreach lands rubbish leads. Stride’s answer is seeding that only puts your product where it will actually travel, and a TikTok Shop set-up that turns that momentum into orders. We target brands that are already active on social and have a product people are excited to receive, so the conversation starts warm.

02 / YOUR MARKET

A market identified and qualified.

We start from the universe of consumer product brands actively marketing on social media across the English-speaking world, with the UK and US as the priority markets and Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the English-business hubs of Singapore, Hong Kong and the UAE in the mix. We screen on the two things that actually predict fit: the brand is visibly active on Instagram or TikTok, and the product is one creators would be excited to receive and show — anything from £100 upward outside food and drink, and food and drink at any price, because it is tastable and never clutter. We deliberately keep the whole middle and above, cutting only micro no-margin sellers and the mega-corporates that already run their own agencies. Sized conservatively, that is around 45,000 brands worth talking to.

~45,000
consumer brands identified
active on social and product-value screened, across the UK, US, Canada, AU/NZ and SG/HK/UAE, in food & drink, tech, home and cleaning
~22,500
contactable prospects

~370

~74
potential new brand clients
over 12 months (UK B2B average closing rate: 20%) — on seeding retainers that recur month after month, a handful of new brands pays the campaign back many times over

How we build this database

We cross-reference the social platforms themselves (Instagram and TikTok, for brands that are actively posting and the communities around them), retailer and marketplace data, Shopify and TikTok Shop presence, trade press and funding announcements, Companies House and its equivalents, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find the brands that fit and the founder, marketing lead or e-commerce manager behind each one. Every contact is then verified and enriched by AI: role check, business email validation, a read on how active the brand is on social, and the product-value screen. Impossible to do by hand across tens of thousands of brands — this is what makes reaching the right person at the right moment possible at scale.

Why 50% are contactable

Consumer brands do not always list a named decision-maker with a direct business email, and smaller brands change hands and roles quickly. This 50% ratio is deliberately conservative — an active-on-social brand list typically yields 40% to 60% verified contacts through Sales Nav, Apollo, Hunter and our enrichment stack — so the projections stay realistic rather than optimistic.

This sizing keeps the whole addressable middle and above of the English-speaking market and cuts only the two extremes: micro no-margin sellers and the mega-corporates that run their own agencies. The active-on-social and product-value screens are applied during extraction and enrichment, and the “actively posting” signal is confirmed at reply. The ~74 figure is market headroom, not a delivery promise — but unlike a solo operator, Stride’s team of around 50 has the capacity to service a flow like this, which is why we are comfortable sizing wide. We can tighten (a single sector, UK-only, food and drink only) or widen once Phase 1 has run.
03 / PROSPECT SAMPLE

10 brands identified by our AI.

Before launching at full scale, we always start with a sample of 10 real consumer brands, picked across your sectors — food and drink, tech, home and cleaning — and weighted toward the UK and US, to show the approach works for all of them. For each one we name the founder or marketing lead, surface a recent signal, and explain why the brand fits Stride’s seeding and TikTok Shop offer. The same method is then applied to your full base of ~22,500 contactable prospects.

For each prospect, our AI identifies a concrete signal: a recent raise or retail win, a new product launch, an award, or the shape of their creator community. That signal justifies why to reach out now — the moment the brand has fresh momentum to amplify — and gives the email its opening line.

This sample mixes five food and drink brands (Final Boss Sour, FATSO, Graza, Dalston’s Soda, Fly By Jing), three home, cleaning and fragrance brands (Purdy & Figg, TOLD London, Tru Earth) and two consumer-tech brands (Nanoleaf, Aura Frames) across the UK, US and Canada — a preview of what your full pipeline will look like. You will validate it and steer us before the campaign goes live.

01

Final Boss Sour

London Lazerson · Co-founder & Chief Creative Officer
All-natural real-fruit sour candy, built inside the studio behind Liquid Death. The biggest sour-candy brand on TikTok Shop.
SIGNAL DETECTED

On 17 July 2026 Final Boss Sour announced a $4M raise and expansion into seven major retail chains including Walmart, Kroger and Target, on the back of 2B+ organic TikTok views.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

Candy is the perfect free-to-seed product and the brand is already TikTok Shop-native, so seeding compounds directly into shop sales. A fresh raise plus a national retail push is exactly the moment to flood creators and drive shelf velocity.

02

FATSO Chocolate

Ella McKay · Co-founder
Chunky, ethically-sourced Colombian chocolate bars with a cheeky, content-forward brand voice. Female-led, London.
SIGNAL DETECTED

In April 2026 FATSO landed its first national supermarket listing, an exclusive launch across around 250 Waitrose stores, after building 450+ independents, plus a full-range Whole Foods listing.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

Premium, craveable, genuinely giftable chocolate that creators want to receive, from a brand already fluent on TikTok. A national retail launch is a ready-made seeding moment to convert into shop and shelf demand.

03

Graza

Andrew Benin · Co-founder & CEO
Squeeze-bottle Spanish extra-virgin olive oil built for cooking content, now expanding into adjacent pantry.
SIGNAL DETECTED

In December 2025 Graza was profiled at a ~$48M revenue run-rate and 11,000+ retail doors, double 2024, stocked at Whole Foods and Target, as it expanded beyond olive oil.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

A giftable, endlessly demo-able pantry product and a founder who already leans on creator content — seeding to food creators and recipe-led TikTok Shop selling map straight onto the brand.

04

Dalston’s Soda Co.

Duncan O’Brien · Founder / General Manager
Craft canned sodas made from real fruit and sparkling water, no refined sugar. East London.
SIGNAL DETECTED

In January 2026 Dalston’s raised £850k for UK expansion across marketing, retail and foodservice, and appointed a new Managing Director, Sally Rose.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

Fresh funding earmarked for marketing plus a new commercial lead means budget and appetite. Craft canned drinks sample brilliantly in seeding hauls and bundle well on TikTok Shop.

05

Fly By Jing

Jing Gao · Founder & CEO
Premium Sichuan chili crisp and Chinese-inspired sauces. Founder-led and highly social-native.
SIGNAL DETECTED

In November 2025 Fly By Jing launched its giftable “Shorty Triple Threat” trio across 1,862 Walmart stores, and went on to win a 2026 Good Housekeeping Kitchen Award.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

Craveable, giftable and endlessly demo-able, and the founder is a content creator herself, so a creator-seeding programme sits right inside the brand’s DNA. A Walmart launch is the moment to amplify.

06

Purdy & Figg

Charlotte Figg · Co-founder
Premium natural refillable cleaning with “bottles for life”. A CleanTok favourite, founder-led, bootstrapped.
SIGNAL DETECTED

Purdy & Figg was named in the FEBE / Sunday Times fastest-growing companies list for 2025, in the top 10 with roughly 325% growth, its revenue climbing into the tens of millions.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

Their entire growth engine is authentic CleanTok refill-demo content, so seeding is their playbook at scale, and refillable starter kits are a natural TikTok Shop SKU. A brand this social-native is a warm conversation.

07

TOLD London

Lillie Edgar · Co-founder & Managing Director
British luxury home fragrance — refillable porcelain candles and diffusers. An aspirational gifting product.
SIGNAL DETECTED

In October 2025 TOLD London won Silver and Bronze at the Pure Beauty Awards and a Best Newcomer nod at the Fragrance Foundation Awards, having launched its collection earlier in the year.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

A beautiful, giftable, unboxing-friendly luxury product is exactly what creators love to feature, and the refillable format gives repeat-purchase affiliate potential. Award wins are a strong reason to reach out now and get the range into creators’ hands.

08

Nanoleaf

Gimmy Chu · Co-founder & CEO
Modular and RGB smart lighting — panels, lightstrips, ceiling and floor lights. A direct Govee competitor.
SIGNAL DETECTED

On 1 July 2026 Nanoleaf launched its Matter smart multicolour ceiling light, alongside a 2026 edition of its solar garden lights.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

Stride already works with Govee, Nanoleaf’s direct competitor, so the credibility is built in. Lighting is spectacular in short-form video and a brand-new product is the easiest thing to get a few hundred home and tech creators actually filming.

09

Aura Frames

Abdur Chowdhury · Co-founder & CEO
Premium connected digital photo frames, from $229 to $499. High-AOV, giftable consumer tech.
SIGNAL DETECTED

On 21 October 2025 Aura launched the $499 Aura Ink, the first 13.3-inch cordless colour e-paper frame, following the $229 Aspen earlier in the year.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

A high-value, gift-led, demo-friendly device that sits perfectly in the sentimental-gadget lane on TikTok. Seeding to family and lifestyle creators around gifting seasons is a natural motion, and a new flagship is the hook.

10

Tru Earth

Ryan McKenzie · Co-founder & CMO
Eco laundry detergent strips, sustainability-led, a big DTC brand. Vancouver, Canada.
SIGNAL DETECTED

In February 2026 Tru Earth entered Costco Canada in-store for the first time across 14 British Columbia warehouses, after ranking on the Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies list in September 2025.

WHY THIS PROSPECT FOR STRIDE SOCIAL

Light to ship, giftable and eco, with a co-founder who is a CMO and an active content creator himself, so a seeding and affiliate pitch will land warm. Retail expansion is the moment to build a creator community around the launch.

04 / AI PERSONALISATION

Emails that look written by hand.

The difference between an email that gets deleted and an email that gets a reply is rarely the offer, it is the first sentence. When a founder or marketing lead opens an email and reads a line that names the product they just launched, the raise they just closed, or a brand in their exact category Stride already works with, the email earns the right to keep going. Cold is Gold’s AI workflow extracts those facts at scale across tens of thousands of consumer brands, then weaves them into the opening line so every message reads as if a human spent two minutes on the recipient. No flattery, no horoscope copy, no “I came across your website”, just a precise, verifiable fact in the brand’s own vocabulary, tied to the seeding and TikTok Shop work Stride wants.

The principle: when a founder reads the email, they should think “this person knows my brand”, not “this is a bot”. Every opening sentence cites a precise, verifiable fact in industry vocabulary — seeding, creators, TikTok Shop, affiliates, UGC, launch, retail listing.

Here are the 3 types of signals we would use to personalise every email sent on your behalf, stacked from most-findable to most-personal so the AI pipeline always has a clean fallback.

01

A recent momentum event (a raise, a retail win or an award)

What we look for A fresh milestone in the last few months — a funding round, a new retail listing, or an industry award — because it signals both budget and the perfect moment to amplify, and gives a natural reason to reach out now.

“Saw Final Boss just rolled into Walmart, Kroger and Target off the new raise. That is usually the exact moment a wave of creator seeding does the most for shelf velocity.”

02

A specific new product or range

What we look for A product or range the brand has just launched or is about to — the natural thing to put in creators’ hands — read from their shop, their launch posts and their press.

Nanoleaf launched its Matter smart multicolour ceiling light in July 2026.

AI personalisation →

“Noticed the new Matter ceiling light landed this month. A launch like that is the easiest thing to get a few hundred home and tech creators actually filming, not just posting a code.”

03

Their social footprint and how well the product seeds

What we look for How active the brand already is — posting cadence, follower community, existing creator or affiliate content — and how naturally the product lends itself to seeding, so the pitch is sized to what they have already built.
Where we find it their Instagram and TikTok handles · TikTok Shop presence · recent post frequency · the product page

TOLD London won Silver and Bronze at the 2025 Pure Beauty Awards and sells a refillable porcelain candle.

Ongoing
Good to know: phases 2, 3 and 4 run in parallel with the technical setup (phase 1). Concretely, during the 1-month technical warm-up we build your database and write your sequence — so the first emails go out from week 5.

Phase 1 — Technical setup

Creation of dedicated sending domains, SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, opening and setting up the email addresses, launch of the warm-up (1 month). No action required on your side.

Phase 2 — Workshop (1h)

A structured working session to define together the structure of the database, the tone of voice for the emails, and to gather your case studies and key differentiators. This phase runs in parallel with phase 1 (Technical setup).

Phase 3 — Sequence copywriting

First draft, feedback rounds and optimisations with you, then layering in the AI personalisation (the signals shown above). We validate the overall email content with you before moving on to the database.

Phase 4 — Database build

We assemble a sample of prospects (like the 10 above) for you to validate. Once approved, we build the full database with quality control: field verification, contact qualification.

Phase 5 — Campaign launch

Sending starts as soon as the warm-up is complete. First results within the first week. Real-time tracking: open rate, reply rate, opportunities generated.

Phase 6 — Reporting & optimisation

Real-time reporting through our platform. Continuous adjustments and A/B testing on subject lines, opening sentences and sequences. Regular monthly or quarterly check-ins depending on results.

Our commitment
No contractual commitment on the number of opportunities.

How the guarantee works in 3 clauses.

D0 · Launch
CLAUSE.01
Our commitment

We commit to generating at least opportunities per month, i.e. opportunities over months. This target matches the low scenario of our projections (10% of our clients' campaigns).

M+1 · Check
CLAUSE.02
If we fall short of the target

As soon as a month closes below opportunities, your billing is immediately frozen. Concretely: you stop paying from that month onwards, until we have fully caught up the cumulative shortfall. You never pay for a month where we don't deliver on our commitment.

M+3 · Limit
CLAUSE.03
If the shortfall persists over 3 consecutive months

Termination is possible at no cost. We keep working at our own expense during those 3 months of shortfall; beyond that, we acknowledge the failure and you are no longer billable for what follows.

Dynamic values

The figures shown in these clauses are not fixed: they are recalculated automatically based on the parameters set in your simulation above. The final contractual commitment will depend on the parameters validated together at the start of the engagement.

Contractual definition of an opportunity: a prospect responding positively to one of our prospecting emails — either an information request or a meeting request.

In addition to fees, 3 technical costs to plan for.

The first is a one-off investment that you own for life — your prospects remain yours, even if you stop working with us. The other two are monthly technical subscriptions, essential for any cold email campaign.

A FINAL WORD

This document is not a sales pitch. It is a projection built on the real numbers from our campaigns — the scenarios presented are not promises, they are averages observed across our clients.

Our method has been operational for several years. It works as soon as the fundamentals are in place: a clearly identified market, a differentiating positioning, a measured closing rate. Stride Social has all three.

Our conviction is that we can install for you a steady flow of qualified conversations with consumer brands ready to seed and sell — with indicators we steer together, month after month.

Whenever you want to talk about it concretely, we are here.
